Multi-membered group Super Junior was chosen as the most suitable to become honorary ambassadors of the Cherry Blossom Festival.
Many Korean popular idol groups were also selected in a survey by Bugs Music from March 29 to April 4, including TVXQ, SNSD, Big Bang, KARA, and 2NE1.
Super Junior won the poll with 2624 tallies, around 43% of the overall vote. SNSD took second place, receiving 1556 tallies — 26% of the overall vote. Big Bang was in third with 1530 votes (25%). Behind them was TVXQ with 339 votes (6%). KARA came in fifth with 88 votes (2%), and 2NE1 came in sixth with 54 votes (1%).
